Project Goal
Create a pattern with a theme of your choosing, with the intention of it becoming used as wrapping paper.
Summary: I wanted to design a pattern directed towards enthusiasts of video games. To go
even further, I aimed to target a young demographic who play the game
Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The Nintendo IP itself would already succeed in targeting
video game consumers. To target a younger demographic, I kept the color palette of the
pattern elementary, with a focus on primary colors. Assets were illustrated in Photoshop,
then exported to Illustrator to convert into vector files, and then assembled in Illustrator.
