Illustrate a Valentine's Day greeting card (front and interior) based on a theme of your choosing.
Summary: For a Valentine’s Day greeting card, I wanted to explore the softer sides of love. I felt that a pen-and-ink watercolor aesthetic was an appropriate choice, as the translucency provided in the watercolor medium elicits a soft feeling. The illustration of a cat and dog cuddling helps bring coziness. To connect the pen-and-ink desire I had for this illustration, I utilized a hand-drawn typeface.
