Project Goal
Create a design that works, then create T-shirt mockups of said design, and finally, make sure your design has borders for the intention of creating it into a die-cut sticker.
Summary: To me, one of the representative things of the 2000s era involves flip phones.
This project involved gathering photos of old flip phones to find which one felt had the most character. After selecting the T-Mobile Sidekick, extensive research about the phone influenced the design of the asset. Some liberties were taken to enhance the legibility of the graphic, such as increasing the size of the pixel typeface.
Applied Skills: Illustration, Color Design, Mockup Creation
Made with: Photoshop
Reference Images

If you take a look at this sketch and the reference images (and any T-Mobile Sidekick), you'll notice the final illustration is not accurate to any model of a Sidekick. This is because I wanted to incorporate more shape language that real models lacked. This iteration of a sidekick features different attributes from different models, all combined into one.
